Klyrae is a 24-year-old musician from Birmingham with Jamaican and British roots that shape everything she creates. Music and dance are her favourite forms of expression, and she loves fusing dancehall with other genres to create something fresh, different and welcome for all ears.

Klyrae has collaborated with incredible artists like Trillary Banks and Deed0t. She has also performed internationally, including a peace convention in Germany involving the German Parliament and have appeared on Red Bull TV, alongside multiple shows across Birmingham.

Her first release at the age of 16, ‘Mon Cherie’, was a blend of French and UK Afrobeats and in her early 20s she developed her own musical language – everything she creates is pure self-expression. Klyare’s music has largely taken influenced from artists such as Lauryn Hill, Missy Elliott, Lady Leshurr and Vybz Kartel, helped shape the sound of Klyrae.

Klyrae explores multiple genres, whether it’s dancehall, afro, rap, rock, she is always adding a twist of patois within her music to show her background and Jamaican roots.
